Background & Expertise
Educator/Special Events Coordinator, Midway Village Museum
Added all duties of Special Events Coordinator, an additional full time position, beginning in March 2020-present.
Manage budget for both Programs and Special Events Departments (about $200,000.)
Develop, plan, and manage up to 30 yearly events for 13-acre historic site.
Adapt programs for pandemic restrictions.
Train interpretive staff for 30 events each year.
Create and Manage Civil War Days program for 5,000+ students over four days each spring
Manage 25-30 paid and volunteer costumed interpretive staff
Care for costume collection for interpretive staff for WWI, WWII, Civil War and late Victorian periods
Create over 400 hours of summer camp programming each summer
