Special Events

Develop, plan and execute as many as 30 events yearly, including during pandemic restrictions, and both the largest WWI and WWII reenactments in the Midwest. See a few example below!

All Hallows

Work with 30 local businesses to adopt village building to decorate and hand out candy to create a safe trick-or-treat location for as many as 5,000 local families.

Evening of Illumination 

Research and write activity stations about odd Victorian and Edwardian traditions and activities. Topics have included funerals, embalming, Ouija boards, Spiritualism, poisons, H.H. Holmes, gothic romance novels, and more.
